Overview

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist to provide coverage at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California. This role offers an opportunity to work in a high-acuity trauma center with a variety of cases and a supportive staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide coverage at Highland Hospital
  • Perform an average of 5-6 procedures per day
  • Manage 24-hour call responsibilities
  • Conduct biopsies, drainages, tunneled access, and trauma hemorrhage control procedures
  • Respond to GI, Gyn, and Urology emergencies

Required skills

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
  • Active California medical license
  • ACLS and BLS certification
  • DEA and California CSR
  • Minimum 3 years of post-training Interventional Radiology experience
  • Comfort in a Level I trauma center environment
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic
