Join Our Team as a Locum Interventional Radiologist in Lansing, MI Make a Difference in Patient Care Looking for an exceptional opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting? We are seeking a dedicated Locum Interventional Radiologist to join UMH Sparrow Lansing Main Hospital s esteemed team. This full-time role offers the chance to engage in a diverse range of procedures within a supportive, hospital-based environment. If you are a Board-Certified MD seeking a rewarding locum position with flexible scheduling and competitive compensation, this is your next career move. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential interventional radiology services, including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization, among other procedures. Join a collaborative team of three physicians and two advanced practice providers in a Level I trauma center, supporting adult and geriatric patients. Enjoy a predictable schedule with Q3 call coverage every third weekday and weekend ensuring a balanced work-life integration. Site flexibility includes opportunities for additional travel for providers able to commit to 3+ weeks of coverage per month. Lodging is provided on campus, with mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Required Skills: Board Certification in Radiology (MD)Proven experience in interventional radiology proceduresAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a hospital teamStrong procedural and diagnostic skillsExcellent communication and patient management abilitiesNice to Have Skills: Experience with orthopedic, gynecologic, or urologic proceduresFamiliarity with EMRs (specific systems not specified)Additional certifications in minimally invasive proceduresPreferred Education and Experience: Doctor of Medicine (MD) with valid radiology licenseMinimum of 2 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in interventional radiologyPrior experience in hospital-based IR practice is advantageousOther Requirements: Availability to start on or before 01/01/2026Ability to perform approximately 8 cases per dayFast credentialing process ideally within 90 daysValid licensure, certifications, and healthcare compliance requiredThis opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in a reputable hospital environment, providing impactful care and advancing your professional portfolio.
