Overview

The Radiologic Technologist at St. Peter's Hospital is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, including radiographic, CT, MRI, and ultrasound, in accordance with departmental standards. This part-time role includes weekend shifts on a scheduled rotation and emphasizes a service-oriented approach to patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations
  • Operate and adjust imaging equipment
  • Explain procedures to patients and position them appropriately
  • Interact with physicians and staff to ensure efficient operations

Required skills

  • AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology or Equivalent
  • Current ARRT registration and NYS license required or eligible
  • CPR Certification
  • Experience in diagnostic imaging and medical equipment operation
  • Interpersonal skills for patient care
