Job Description

Overview

The Radiologic Technologist at Samaritan Hospital is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations including radiographic, CT, MRI, and ultrasound. This full-time position operates on a 7 On/Off night shift schedule and requires interaction with physicians and staff to ensure efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with departmental standards
  • Operate and adjust imaging equipment
  • Explain procedures to patients and position them for exams
  • Interact courteously and professionally with patients and staff

Required skills

  • AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
  • Current ARRT registration and NYS license required or eligible
  • CPR Certification
  • Technical skills in diagnostic imaging
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance and patient care
