Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a part-time or casual position in Athens, Ohio. The role involves delivering radiation therapy treatments as prescribed and preparing patients for their therapy sessions, while maintaining records and monitoring patient conditions.

Key responsibilities

  • Administers radiation therapy treatments on a daily basis
  • Maintains daily records of treatment, including dosages and calculations
  • Performs simulations and acquires treatment parameters
  • May be required to be on-call for weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
  • Maintains patient schedules and coordinates with families and hospital personnel
  • Monitors patient condition and progress daily
  • Assists Radiation Oncologist in Brachytherapy procedures
  • Oversees and directs clinical activities of Radiation Therapy Technology students
  • Participates in Department Clinical QA activities and tumor board

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree
  • Registered with the ARRT
  • Licensed in the State of Ohio
  • BLS Certification
  • Driver's License
