Job Description

Overview

As a Radiation Therapist at OhioHealth, you will deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by Radiation Oncologists, prepare patients for treatment, and maintain accurate records. This role requires a commitment to patient care in a supportive and high-quality medical environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Administers Radiation Therapy treatments daily
  • Maintains daily records of treatments, dosages, and calculations
  • Performs simulations and acquires treatment parameters
  • Assists in Brachytherapy procedures and oversees clinical activities of students
  • Monitors patient condition and progress
  • Coordinates patient schedules and communicates with families and personnel
  • Participates in Department Clinical QA activities and conferences

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree
  • ARRT certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
