Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join their Radiation Oncology team in Delaware, Ohio. This contingent role involves delivering radiation therapy treatments as prescribed, preparing patients, and maintaining records while focusing on safety and quality in patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Administers radiation therapy treatments daily
  • Maintains daily treatment records and dosages
  • Performs simulations and acquires treatment parameters
  • Serves on-call for weekends and holidays as needed
  • Maintains patient schedules and coordinates with families and hospital personnel
  • Monitors patient condition and progress
  • Assists Radiation Oncologist in Brachytherapy procedures
  • Oversees and directs clinical activities of Radiation Therapy Technology students
  • Participates in Department Clinical QA activities and tumor boards

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree
  • ARRT certification
  • BLS certification
  • Licensed in Radiation Therapy in the State of Ohio
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in patient care and oncology
