Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a Radiation Therapist in Dublin, Ohio, to deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by Radiation Oncologists. The role involves preparing patients for radiation therapy, administering treatments, and monitoring patient progress in a supportive healthcare environment focused on wellness and quality care.

Key responsibilities

  • Administers radiation therapy treatments daily
  • Maintains daily treatment records including dosages and calculations
  • Performs simulations and acquires treatment parameters
  • Responsible for on-call duty during weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
  • Maintains and coordinates patient schedules for In-Patients and Out-Patients
  • Monitors patient condition and progress daily
  • Assists the Radiation Oncologist in Brachytherapy procedures
  • Oversees clinical activities of Radiation Therapy Technology students
  • Participates in department clinical QA activities and new patient conferences

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree
  • ARRT certification
  • BLS certification
  • Driver's License
  • Licensed in field in the State of Ohio
  • Experience in healthcare and radiation therapy
  • Strong communication and team coordination skills
