Job Description

Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver Radiation Therapy Treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist at their new Oncology Facility. This role involves preparing patients for treatment, conducting simulations, and maintaining accurate treatment records, all while providing compassionate patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Administers Radiation Therapy treatments daily
  • Maintains daily records of treatment, including dosages and calculations
  • Performs simulations and acquires treatment parameters and patient contours
  • Monitors patient conditions and progress regularly
  • Assists in Brachytherapy procedures and oversees clinical activities of students
  • Participates in Department Clinical QA activities and new patient conferences

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • State of Ohio licensure
  • Knowledge of Radiation Therapy techniques and medical equipment
