Job Description

Overview

Kratos Industries LLC is seeking a Quotations Engineer to develop commercial quotes for electrical equipment and serve as a subject matter expert within the Sales team. The role involves interfacing with customers and vendors, analyzing complex requests, and creating technical documentation to support the quoting process.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop commercial quotes for Kratos electrical equipment in a timely manner
  • Interface with customers and manufacturer's representatives
  • Solicit vendor pricing to complete proposals
  • Create guides and reference sheets for the quoting team
  • Escalate complex requests to subject matter experts
  • Review technical specifications and compile supporting documentation
  • Collect and analyze Estimator KPIs and provide feedback to management

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the electrical industry
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Advanced written and verbal technical communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and specifications
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution equipment and related power systems
  • Understanding of UL, ANSI, NEMA standards
  • UL Manufacturer Technical Representative (MTR) certification or ability to obtain
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, or quotation management systems

What the company offers

  • Salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 annually
  • Standard working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
