Overview

Kratos Industries LLC is seeking a Quotations Engineer in Arvada, Colorado. The role involves developing commercial quotes for Kratos electrical equipment and acting as a subject matter expert in sales for specific customer designs or products.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop commercial quotes for Kratos electrical equipment promptly and accurately
  • Interface directly with customers and manufacturer's representatives
  • Solicit vendor pricing to complete proposals
  • Create guides and reference sheets to expedite the quoting process
  • Review and comment on technical specifications and compile supporting documentation
  • Collect and analyze Estimator KPIs and provide feedback to the sales management team
  • Escalate complex requests to the appropriate subject matter experts

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quotation, estimating, or applications engineering in the electrical industry
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Advanced written and verbal technical communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and specifications
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution equipment and standards such as UL, ANSI, NEMA
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, or quotation management systems preferred
  • UL Manufacturer Technical Representative (MTR) certification for UL 891 Switchboards or ability to obtain it within 6 mo

What the company offers

  • Salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 annually
  • Monday to Friday work schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
