Overview

As a Quality Technician at Safeway Garage Doors, you will be the gatekeeper of excellence, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of precision, performance, and reliability. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality that the company is known for and involves a mix of inspection, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, measurements, and testing on materials and finished goods
  • Identify defects, non-conformities, and opportunities for improvement
  • Document findings and communicate insights to drive better outcomes
  • Monitor workflows and implement corrective and preventative solutions
  • Lead root cause analysis and recommend changes to reduce defects
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures
  • Support and guide team members on quality standards
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and leadership
  • Maintain calibration and functionality of inspection equipment

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles
