Overview

As a Quality Technician at Safeway Garage Doors, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of quality. This position requires a detail-oriented individual dedicated to identifying defects and enhancing processes to uphold excellence in manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, measurements, and testing on materials and finished goods
  • Identify defects, non-conformities, and opportunities for improvement
  • Document findings, generate reports, and communicate insights
  • Monitor workflows and implement corrective and preventative solutions
  • Lead root cause analysis to reduce defects and increase efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures
  • Support and guide team members on quality standards
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and leadership
  • Maintain calibration and functionality of inspection equipment

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of quality control principles and inspection methods
  • Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid communication skills
  • Familiarity with ISO standards or Six Sigma (a plus)
