Overview

Bakerly Barn LLC is seeking a Quality Technician for the 3rd Shift in Easton, Pennsylvania. This vital role is responsible for ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards within a fast-paced production environment. The technician will monitor processes, perform testing, and support the quality assurance initiatives of the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor process controls to ensure adherence to food safety and quality programs.
  • Perform microbiological and chemical testing on incoming, in-process, and finished products.
  • Document and analyze data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct quality audits to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Lead incident and complaint investigations.
  • Collaborate with production management on quality issues.
  • Maintain and operate laboratory equipment safely and efficiently.

Required skills

  • BS or AA degree in a science or technical field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of quality assurance experience in a food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
  • Ability to assess risk and make decisions under pressure.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
