Overview

Valgroup is seeking a Quality Specialist to join their manufacturing facility in Findlay, Ohio, focusing on enhancing quality management and supporting various quality initiatives. The role emphasizes collaboration and the effective management of document and quality systems to ensure compliance with ISO and SQF standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the Document Management System (DMS)
  • Support ISO and SQF culture and practices
  • Assist with internal and external quality audits
  • Support customer satisfaction surveys and initiatives
  • Assist with quality issue resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required skills

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of quality and/or manufacturing experience
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and SQF standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience supporting quality audits and document management
