Overview

Bosch is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Management System Engineer to join their team in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, while driving continuous improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement quality management systems aligned with industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100).
  • Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop and execute corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including policies and procedures.
  • Perform failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
  • Provide training and guidance on quality procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality metrics.
  • Stay current with regulatory changes and industry standards.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience in quality management, assurance, or control roles.
  • Expertise in quality management system standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100).
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and CAPA processes.
  • Experience with audit procedures and compliance documentation.
  • Understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools for quality metrics evaluation.
  • Experience with FMEA and risk management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ERP or MES systems.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
