Join a growing, industry-leading aerospace manufacturer where your work makes an impact and your career can take off.Position Description:Quality Inspector will perform in-process and 1st article inspections, evaluate part to print specifications and understand the inspection methods used for inspection and support the manufacturing process and personnel, while adhering to the Quality Policy, ISO9002/AS9100 requirements. Position reports to the Quality Manager and takes daily direction from shift Lead person.Essential Responsibilities: Strong blueprint and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) comprehensionAble to use inspection tools, such as micrometer, indicators, comparator, etcDetailed to complete all paperwork, as required, including inspection reportsAble to make mold casts to check ID dimensionsCan identify dimensional and visual defectsExperienced with CMM or Vision inspection systems; able to run without supervisionAble to understand and implement customer specifications and requirementsAccuracy and attention to detail is highly importantExperienced with completing 1st article inspections, in-process inspections and final inspectionsMust have strong knowledge of aerospace specifications and requirementsMust be able to know the importance of keeping material heats and types separatePerform other duties as required Qualifications: Proficient at reading blueprintsKnowledge of dimensional symbolsAbility to identify visual defectsAbility to read micrometers, calipers and comparatorKnowledge of measuring equipmentAbility to work together for team effortTeam orientedOrganized and detail orientedAdhere to document controlKnowledge of various inspection reportsGeneral computer knowledge Benefits: Enjet offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees including paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid holidays, a 401K retirement plan, disability insurance, and more.
