Job Description Job Description Position: Quality EngineerLocation: Bremen, GAPay: $65k-75k/annualJob Type: Direct HireJob SummaryWe are hiring a Quality Engineer for a client in the Bremen, GA area. This role assures the integrity of supplied product quality, leads problem-solving and change control efforts, and maintains TS-16949 compliance in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally with customers and internal teams.ResponsibilitiesFoster development and training for associates on Quality system initiativesSupport and champion continuous improvement activity and TS-16949 certification effortsLead or participate in team-based problem solving using statistical methods and root cause analysisAct as liaison for assigned customer locations and investigate/respond to customer complaintsDetermine criteria and methods for process controls to minimize non-conforming material outflowCoordinate containment activities to track, identify, and disposition non-conforming materialDevelop and deploy control plans, operational standards, and statistical tracking tools using PFMEAs and product specsCoordinate set-up, calibration, and measurement system analysis of test/measurement equipmentParticipate in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits per established schedulesMaintain 5S housekeeping and safety standardsMust HavesBachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent combination of education and experienceAt least 1 year of related experience in automotive qualityAbility to interpret technical instructions, drawings, and specificationsWorking knowledge of statistical concepts and mathematical problem-solvingAbility to lift/move up to 40 lbs. occasionallyPreferred SkillsProficiency with spreadsheet and word processing softwareExperience presenting to management or external stakeholders Company Description At SKL'D, we make job hunting easy, exciting, and full of possibilities.
