Job Description

Overview

Princeton Tool Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer for the 2nd shift to support manufacturing critical hardware in a fast-paced environment. The role involves real-time problem solving, process improvements, and ensuring compliance with quality management system requirements while working closely with production teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide immediate hands-on support for production quality issues on the manufacturing floor
  • Troubleshoot dimensional, cosmetic, tooling, fixturing, and process-related nonconformances
  • Support first-piece approvals, in-process inspections, and final acceptance activities
  • Lead and support root cause investigations and corrective action initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer specifications, and internal quality procedures
  • Assist with internal, customer, and third-party audits
  • Analyze scrap, rework, and defect trends to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to improve process stability

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years in a quality functional role
  • AS9100 certification experience required
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience preferred
  • Familiarity with AS13100 compliance requirements preferred
  • Experience with turbine components, complex castings, or tight-tolerance machining preferred
  • Ability to work second shift (3 PM to 11:30 PM)
