Overview

The Quality Control Inspector for U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC is responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products through a variety of inspection methods. This role involves working with different inspection equipment and maintaining quality standards in a manufacturing environment, while also contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diversified inspection duties for quality, appearance, and performance
  • Inspect incoming materials per specifications
  • Conduct first piece sample or final inspection of parts or products
  • Stop production in case of excessive defects
  • Make setups of standard gauging and testing devices
  • Record results of inspection and testing activities
  • Perform special inspections or tests on returned products
  • Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition
  • Report faulty operations or defective materials
