Job Description

Overview

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking a Quality Auditor to ensure that materials and products meet specified quality criteria. The role involves inspecting samples, conducting tests, documenting outcomes, and monitoring quality processes within the manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect output samples for quality compliance
  • Conduct measurements and tests for product durability and safety
  • Document inspection outcomes using tablets and complete reports
  • Assist in developing inspection protocols and efficiency improvements
  • Perform bi-weekly warehouse audits using checklists
  • Release first articles in PD machines and for new products
  • Post and update quality alerts on the manufacturing floor
  • Control and update Quarantine area
  • Review and release random boxes from machines
  • Certify and approve rejected materials
  • Monitor actions related to customer complaints
  • Control and release incoming inspection area
  • Fill paperwork related to PPAP and CPK processes
  • Develop lab tests as necessary

Required skills

  • Proven experience as a Quality Auditor in manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and database systems
  • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately read a measuring tape
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Teamwork and collaboration capabilities
  • Ability to analyze and interpret testing results
  • Problem-solving skills in varied practical situations
