Overview

Aerodyne Industries is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist 2 to join their team in Houston, Texas. This role involves performing Quality Assurance inspections to ensure compliance with specifications on mechanical, electrical, and electronic subsystems, supporting critical projects for NASA and the Department of Defense.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform Quality Assurance inspections for compliance with specifications.
  • Inspect mechanical, electrical, and electronic subsystems during various stages.
  • Document discrepancies for facilities and hardware.
  • Witness assembly of hardware and verify technician workmanship.
  • Maintain high standards of performance in complex assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Min 5 years of experience in inspection or related field
  • PC literate with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency operating test and measurement equipment
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques and methods
  • Team player able to collaborate across disciplines
  • Experience in avionics or hardware/software integration
  • Familiarity with manufacturing/test functions and ability to interpret drawings
