Job Description

Overview

The Quality Assurance Engineer at Wagstaff Inc provides technical quality assurance support in a diverse and highly regulated manufacturing environment. The role focuses on managing quality policies and procedures, interpreting customer specifications, and overseeing company-wide quality systems to ensure compliance and performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop project-specific and company-wide quality systems, inspection, and test plans
  • Work closely with project managers and other departments to ensure clear communication of inspection planning requirements
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to resolve quality issues
  • Interface with customers during inspections and address quality concerns
  • Document maintenance of quality system activities and records

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
  • Five years of related experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in manufacturing
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000, ASME NQA-1 or equivalent QMS
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and design specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management software
  • Experience with corrective action/problem-solving processes
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes including welding and CNC milling
