Overview

The Quality Assurance Director at Groupe DCM will oversee the operational management of the Quality Management System (QMS) and quality assurance activities. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Quality Assurance, the role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements while fostering a quality-driven culture within the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage, engage, and develop the quality assurance team
  • Define, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001
  • Oversee and maintain quality documentation
  • Promote a quality-driven culture throughout the organization
  • Manage non-conformances, deviations, and corrective actions
  • Implement prevention and continuous improvement strategies
  • Analyze quality system performance and recommend improvements
  • Lead internal audits and advise on best practices
  • Develop and monitor quality performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes

Required skills

  • Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in aerospace
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a management role
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001)
  • Good understanding of manufacturing and special processes
  • Proficiency in data analysis and IT tools
  • Excellent command of French and advanced proficiency in English
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and analytical skills
