Overview

The QA/QC Specialist at Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products plays a crucial role in maintaining an effective Quality Control Program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. The position involves collaboration with management to oversee compliance with industry regulations and standards, alongside conducting quality inspections and documentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist Quality Systems Manager, Regulatory Manager, or Radioassay Manager in maintaining Quality Control and Assurance Programs.
  • Conduct quality inspections to verify adherence to current procedures.
  • Perform final QC on all company product lines and specific orders.
  • Issue, process, close, and file Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Maintain documentation for QC, including electronic systems management.
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits and train employees on QA/QC procedures.
  • Travel to Burbank and Valencia facilities for audits and training.
  • Recommend procedure changes for improved production techniques.

Required skills

  • Minimum of High School Diploma; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Control or QA.
  • Experience with documentation control and organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with calipers, optical calibrator, and micrometers.
  • Ability to perform Final QC and Receiving Inspection.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Ability to travel and work independently or in a team.
