We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our shop floor team.About the RoleAs a Quality Control Inspector, you'll verify that parts meet engineering and customer requirements at key points in the production process. No prior QC experience is required - on-the-job training is provided. We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn precision measurement.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, pin gauges, radius gauges, and other measurement toolsRecord measurement data accurately to support job/part traceabilityIdentify and report nonconforming parts, or measurementsCommunicate with production and quality team members to resolve inspection issuesMaintain organized, accurate inspection recordsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read technical drawings (GD&T knowledge a plus, not required - training provided)Comfortable using precision measurement tools, or willing to learnStrong attention to detail and record-keeping accuracyReliable attendance and ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PMBasic computer skills for data entryPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods on a shop floorAbility to lift up to 45lbs as neededComfortable working in a manufacturing environmentWhat We OfferOn-the-job training in precision measurement and quality inspectionCompetitive pay: $18-$30/hour, based on experienceMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance (benefits begin after 90 days of employment)Paid time off - 40 hours vacation + 40 hours sick leave, earned after your 1-year anniversaryAll major holidays observedOpportunity for growth within an AS9100/ISO 9001-certified aerospace manufacturer Company Description RiverCity Industries is a custom metal fabrication and manufacturing company with more than 20 years in business.
