Join Victory Pyrotechnics & Special Effects as a Pyrotechnic Technician in Wichita, Kansas, where you'll dive into the exciting realm of fireworks and event production. This part-time, seasonal role offers a great opportunity for enthusiastic individuals, with no prior experience required, to learn and contribute to memorable pyrotechnic displays at various events.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations in handling pyrotechnic materials and equipment
  • Set up and install pyrotechnic devices at event locations
  • Follow scripts or cues to synchronize fireworks with music and choreography
  • Maintain and troubleshoot pyrotechnic equipment and firing systems
  • Conduct tests and rehearsals for safety and quality of displays
  • Respond to emergencies and take appropriate actions
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant permits and regulations
  • Assist in site cleanup after events
  • Engage in continuous training and certification related to pyrotechnics
