Main responsibilities: Machine is CNC punch line or turret machine. Programs for parts and/or nests are loaded into the machine electronically. Setup: Preparing the machine by loading tools and dies specific to the job requirements. Operation: Monitoring and operating the machine to punch holes or shapes in copper & aluminum bar, ensuring quality standards are met. Quality Control: Inspecting finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as needed. Basic blueprint reading, first-off inspections and in-process inspections. Main tools needed are tape measure and calipers.
