Overview

The Public Space Attendant at Icy Strait Point LLC is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in all public facilities. The role involves promoting a positive image of the site to guests and addressing their requests and problems in a friendly manner.

Key responsibilities

  • Clean interior and exterior public areas and restrooms
  • Empty ashtrays and urns
  • Cut wood and maintain fires on site
  • Polish furniture and fixtures
  • Ensure the site is free from trash
  • Wash walls and ceilings, and arrange furniture
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors
  • Dust and polish metal work
  • Perform daily assigned cleaning tasks
  • Report maintenance issues to supervisor
  • Assist guests in public areas as needed
  • Post caution signs as required
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures
  • Maintain equipment used for cleaning
  • Follow scheduled cleaning timetable
  • Conduct spring/winter cleaning as per schedule
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management
