Overview

Nite Lines USA is seeking a Public Health Nurse Practitioner in Kansas City, KS, to join the Personal Health Services Division and focus primarily on Family Planning and Well Woman services. This contract role involves delivering comprehensive reproductive health care and requires strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform physical assessments including sports and work physicals
  • Provide routine gynecological care including pelvic and breast exams
  • Offer colposcopy services with available training
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests
  • Develop clinical protocols and procedures
  • Provide patient education on various health topics including pregnancy options counseling

Required skills

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school
  • Licensed Registered Nurse with Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) License
  • Experience in reproductive health, family planning, or women's health
  • Knowledge of Title X is a plus
  • Ability to work with diverse client populations and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
  • BLS certification

What the company offers

  • Pay rate of $70.00 per hour
  • Temporary position for 13 weeks
  • Work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with late clinic hours on Wednesdays
