Overview

The Public Health Analyst I role at Cherokee Federal focuses on providing analytical and programmatic support to the CDC's Division of Global Migration Health initiatives, particularly concerning Southern Border Health. This position requires strong project management skills and a focus on performance monitoring and program evaluation within a dynamic public health environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and support day-to-day program and project management activities for public health initiatives
  • Coordinate project plans, timelines, deliverables, and reporting activities
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain status reports to support program oversight
  • Support meeting facilitation and stakeholder engagement
  • Provide administrative and operational support for program activities
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative public health data
  • Prepare data summaries, reports, and visualizations
  • Clean, validate, and manage datasets to ensure data accuracy

Required skills
