Concord Physicians Solutions is seeking a Psychiatry Physician for a locum tenens position in Somerville, New Jersey. The role involves providing psychiatric care primarily in a consultation liaison setting within a general adult inpatient psychiatry unit, with a focus on adult patients and the supervision of advanced practice providers.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform inpatient psychiatric evaluations
  • Manage medication for patients
  • Plan discharges for patients
  • Provide consult liaison coverage
  • Manage complex psychiatric conditions
  • Supervise advanced practice providers (APPs)
  • Participate in weekend coverage (1 weekend per month)

Required skills

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Active New Jersey medical license
  • Experience in adult inpatient psychiatry
  • Comfortable with consultation liaison psychiatry
  • Ability to supervise APPs
