Overview

The Cooper Health System is seeking a Division Head of Ambulatory Psychiatry to lead its expanding clinical services, teaching, and research programs. This role offers the opportunity to blend clinical care with education, innovation, and administrative duties within a community-focused health system in Southern New Jersey.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage practice operations and clinical services of the ambulatory psychiatry division
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and enhance service efficiency
  • Develop new treatment programs and innovative service initiatives
  • Teach medical students, residents, and other trainees
  • Conduct clinical research and foster a collaborative environment
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team and work closely with other clinical departments

Required skills

  • Several years of experience in clinical care and program development
  • ACGME board certification in General Psychiatry
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in New Jersey
