Overview

She Recruits, LLC is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist with a geriatric focus to provide high-quality psychiatric care in Pennsylvania. This role combines clinical responsibilities with leadership and oversight for nurse practitioners and physician assistants, ensuring excellent behavioral health care for older adults across various clinical settings.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment planning for geriatric patients.
  • Provide supervision and collaborative oversight for psychiatric NPs and/or PAs.
  • Maintain and review collaborative agreements according to legal and organizational policies.
  • Coordinate patient care with primary care providers, social workers, therapists, and nursing staff.
  • Participate in case reviews, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation within the EMR system.
  • Stay updated on developments in geriatric psychiatry and collaborative supervision best practices.

Required skills

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
  • Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and DEA registration
  • Experience treating geriatric and/or adult populations
  • Prior experience holding collaborative agreements with advanced practice providers
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Commitment to ethical and compassionate care
