Overview

She Recruits. LLC is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist with a focus on geriatrics to provide high-quality psychiatric care to geriatric patients in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role includes direct patient care, clinical leadership, and collaboration with nurse practitioners and physician assistants, ensuring compassionate and evidence-based behavioral health services for older adults.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment planning for geriatric patients.
  • Provide ongoing supervision and collaborative oversight for psychiatric NPs and/or PAs.
  • Maintain and review collaborative agreements for legal and organizational compliance.
  • Coordinate care with primary care providers, social workers, therapists, and nursing staff.
  • Participate in case reviews, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Ensure accurate clinical documentation within the EMR system.
  • Stay updated on developments in geriatric psychiatry and best practices.

Required skills

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency; Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship preferred
  • Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and DEA registration
  • Experience treating geriatric and/or adult populations
  • Prior experience with collaborative agreements with advanced practice providers
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered, ethical, and compassionate care
