Overview

She Recruits, LLC seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist with a focus on geriatrics to deliver high-quality psychiatric care to elderly patients in Pennsylvania. The role includes direct patient care, collaborative oversight for psychiatric nurse practitioners and physician assistants, and participation in interdisciplinary teamwork.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment planning for geriatric patients
  • Provide supervision and oversight for psychiatric NPs and PAs in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations
  • Maintain and review collaborative agreements for consultation
  • Coordinate patient care with primary care providers and nursing staff
  • Participate in case reviews and interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Ensure accurate clinical documentation within the EMR system
  • Stay updated on developments in geriatric psychiatry and psychopharmacology

Required skills

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency; Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship preferred
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license and DEA registration
  • Experience treating geriatric and adult populations
  • Experience with collaborative agreements for advanced practice providers preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
