Overview

UCHealth is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Outpatient Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their Behavioral Health Clinic in Fort Collins, CO. This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, aiming to improve mental health outcomes for pediatric and adolescent patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for pediatric and adolescent patients
  • Provide evidence-based psychiatric care, including medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, and social workers
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning sessions
  • Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in psychiatry

Required skills

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
  • Experience in pediatric and adolescent mental health care
