Overview

Horizon Develop Build Manage is looking for a motivated part-time Property Manager to manage Cloud Village Apartments in Baraboo, Wisconsin. This role involves ensuring smooth operations and fostering a positive resident experience within the affordable housing community.

Key responsibilities

  • Foster a welcoming, responsive, and service-oriented environment for residents
  • Address inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage leasing activities including inquiries, tours, applications, and lease signings
  • Maintain accurate leasing records and ensure timely follow-up with prospects
  • Administer income certifications, recertifications, and documentation in accordance with affordable housing guidelines
  • Coordinate with maintenance to ensure timely completion of work orders
  • Oversee rent collection, delinquency follow-up, and basic financial tracking
  • Maintain property records, reports, and systems accurately
  • Support inspections, audits, and vendor coordination as needed

Required skills

  • Prior property management, leasing, or customer service experience
  • Knowledge of affordable housing or Section 42 programs
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members
  • Ability to learn and exercise good judgment
