Overview

AOG Living is seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the physical maintenance and repair operations for an apartment community in Bellville, Texas. The role requires strong leadership to manage maintenance staff and ensure high-quality service for residents, while also handling preventative maintenance and construction projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance activities for the apartment community and staff
  • Coordinate and respond to resident and management work requests
  • Prepare vacant apartment units for move-in
  • Conduct safety and skills training for maintenance employees
  • Identify and correct hazardous property conditions
  • Manage maintenance budget and order supplies
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of multi-family experience
  • EPA Section 608 (HVAC/Freon Recovery certification)
  • Training in boiler repair, plumbing, and mold detection/resolution
  • Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) required
  • Ability to handle plumbing repairs, tile work, and electrical repairs
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA Requirements and local ordinances
  • Must supply own hand tools
