Overview

AOG Living is seeking a Property Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of an apartment community in Grapeland, Texas. The role involves managing maintenance staff, ensuring general maintenance repairs, coordinating apartment make-readies, and leading preventative maintenance and construction projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance activities for the apartment community and staff
  • Coordinate and respond to resident and management requests and work orders
  • Prepare vacant apartment units for move-in
  • Schedule safety and skills training for maintenance employees
  • Identify and correct hazardous property conditions
  • Order supplies and manage maintenance budget
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of multi-family experience or equivalent
  • EPA Section 608 (HVAC/Freon Recovery certification)
  • Certifications/Permits required to perform job responsibilities
  • Training in boiler repair, plumbing, and mold detection/resolution
  • Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) required
  • Experience with plumbing repairs, tile work, HVAC equipment, appliance repair, carpentry repairs, and electrical repair
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to interact with residents, vendors, and all levels of employees
  • Basic knowledge of OSHA Requirements and Local, City, and State Ordinances
