Overview

AOG Living is seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Supervisor to manage the maintenance and rehabilitation of an apartment community in Addison, Texas. This role requires a proactive approach to overseeing maintenance staff, responding to service requests, and ensuring general property upkeep.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance activities for the apartment community
  • Respond to resident and management requests and work orders
  • Prepare vacant apartment units for move-in
  • Coordinate safety and skills training for maintenance staff
  • Identify and correct hazardous property conditions
  • Order supplies and manage the maintenance budget
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of multi-family experience or equivalent
  • EPA Section 608 certification (HVAC/Freon Recovery)
  • Training in boiler repair, plumbing, and mold detection/resolution
  • Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) required
  • Plumbing, tile work, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, and electrical skills
  • Operation of common maintenance-related tools
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and local ordinances
