Overview

The Property Maintenance Manager at Tri City Rentals will oversee day-to-day management in the apartment industry, working with a portfolio of 500 or more apartments. This role involves hiring and training staff, managing contracts, and ensuring maintenance and facility-related issues are addressed effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of 500+ apartments
  • Hire, train, and oversee maintenance staff
  • Bid, negotiate, and implement contracts
  • Develop and oversee capital improvement projects
  • Analyze reports for trends and potential problems
  • Ensure high levels of customer service
  • Oversee snow removal and other maintenance tasks
  • Handle on-call responsibilities

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in property management
  • Leadership and team-building skills
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in facility management and maintenance
