Overview

Fire Safety and Protection is seeking a Project Sales Executive in Beltsville, Maryland, to specialize in the sales of Sprinkler Systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in fire protection systems and a strong background in business development, focusing on generating and closing sales opportunities while managing client relationships and collaborating with project teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Sprinkler System market.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders including contractors and property managers.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed project proposals, cost estimates, and sales contracts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about the latest products, technologies, and regulations related to Sprinkler Systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and project documentation.

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales within the fire protection industry or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Sprinkler Systems and fire safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Technical expertise to provide support and advice to clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • NICET certification in fire protection or equivalent (preferred).
