Overview

Blooming Glen Contractors, part of The H&K Group, is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator for their Water & Wastewater Services Division. The role involves managing the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of costs for projects related to water and wastewater, ensuring that goals are met within set time frames and budgets.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform work in accordance with OSHA and company safety policies
  • Comprehend and disseminate contract documents including plans and specifications
  • Communicate effectively with project engineers and prepare schedule updates
  • Attend progress meetings and prepare change orders and RFIs
  • Process vendor and supplier invoices, purchase orders, and project submittals
  • Maintain project schedules to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • Ability to read blueprints and job-related documents
  • Familiarity with accounting and scheduling software for project management
  • Strong knowledge of water and wastewater industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office
  • Driver's license and clean driving record
