Overview

The Project Manager - Manufacturing at Butcher Power Products is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing internal production projects across various business units. This role involves close collaboration with Engineering, supply chain, and Production to ensure project schedules are defined, materials are allocated effectively, and project timelines are adhered to.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for internal production projects
  • Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and timelines
  • Track project progress and drive corrective actions for schedule adherence
  • Coordinate material requirements and resolve shortages for projects
  • Manage project-related purchase orders and invoice reconciliation
  • Partner with Production Scheduler for demand and capacity planning
  • Serve as the primary internal contact for cross-functional project coordination
  • Manage execution of job shop projects and inter-company builds
  • Provide regular project status and risk reporting to stakeholders
  • Implement improvements to project planning and execution processes
