Overview

The Project Manager - EPC role at New River Electrical Corporation is designed for engineering or construction management graduates or experienced construction workers. This position involves supporting lead project managers in executing various projects by assisting with coordination, administration tasks, and developing essential project management skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist lead project managers in executing projects
  • Cultivate relationships with existing customers
  • Review RFP opportunities and develop bidding strategies
  • Prepare project initiation plans including schedules and safety plans
  • Conduct job site safety audits and training
  • Manage project costs and proactively identify risks
  • Support project cash flows, billing, and change order tracking
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or project management
  • 0-3 years of utility or construction internship experience preferred
  • Eight years of hands-on construction experience with supervisory experience preferred without degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership and motivational skills
  • Ability to maintain customer relationships
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of construction best practices and principles
