Job Description

Overview

The Electrical Contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects from start to finish. This role focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of electrical construction projects, including planning, execution, and close-out
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Utilize McCormick Estimating Software for project estimates and cost tracking
  • Manage job costing, billing, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address and document all issues and/or delays
  • Prepare monthly cost to complete reports and present project status reports
  • Schedule and attend weekly site meetings with field and customer personnel

Required skills

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical project management
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and/or industrial electrical construction
  • Proficiency with McCormick Estimating Software and Foundation Accounting Software
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Autodesk, and Bluebeam software
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experien
