Overview

The Project Manager (Construction) at Peckham Industries is responsible for overseeing construction projects with a focus on scheduling and financial oversight. This role involves collaborating with subcontractors, managing project budgets, and ensuring successful project execution from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project timelines
  • Coordinate with subcontractors for efficient workflow
  • Oversee project budgets through cost monitoring
  • Collaborate with estimators on bid reviews
  • Maintain communication with Superintendents and clients
  • Conduct regular job cost analyses and monitor financial performance
  • Plan and coordinate field operations across multiple projects
  • Foster a Safety Culture and maintain zero-incident environment

Required skills

  • 5+ years of relevant construction experience
  • 4-year degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, preferred
  • Strong understanding of milling, reclamation, paving, and chip seal operations
  • Knowledge of mathematics, estimating, and bidding
  • Experience with B2W Track and XBE software systems, preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
