Overview

Peckham Industries is seeking a Project Manager (Construction) for their Palmer, Massachusetts location. This role is pivotal in overseeing construction projects, focusing on scheduling, financial oversight, and effective coordination amongst teams to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage project timelines to meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors for efficient workflow.
  • Monitor project budgets through financial analysis.
  • Collaborate with estimators for informed decision-making.
  • Communicate regularly with managers, superintendents, and clients.
  • Drive a safety culture ensuring zero incidents.
  • Utilize job cost reports to monitor financial performance.
  • Visit construction sites for inspections and progress tracking.

Required skills

  • 5+ years of relevant construction experience
  • 4-year degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of milling, reclamation, paving, and chip seal operations
  • Experience with B2W Track and XBE software systems (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
