Overview

A.O. Hardee and Son, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee heavy-highway sitework contracts, ensuring projects meet safety, budget, and scheduling requirements. The role involves collaboration with estimators and superintendents, regular site visits, and client interactions to deliver high-quality results.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage Heavy-Highway Sitework contracts in collaboration with Estimating and Superintendents.
  • Review and execute Contract and Subcontract Documents for designated jobs.
  • Monitor job progress, quantities, and costs.
  • Conduct regular site visits to maintain schedule and budget.
  • Interface professionally with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed by senior management.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of Project Management experience in Heavy Civil earthwork projects.
  • Proficiency in HCSS HeavyJob or similar software, Agtek.
  • Experience with Auto-CAD and Trimble Business Center is a plus.
  • Strong mathematical and computer skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Construction, or Building Science, or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Active Driver's License with clean driving record.
